FAQ

We're still working on this page - but when it's done, we'll have a more complete list of FAQs to address venue, transportation, parking, ticketing, lodging, sponsorship, and more!

Stay tuned for more Reunion info by signing up for email announcements below.

Why wasn't I invited to or told about past reunions?

Unfortunately, neither PISD nor PSHS provides a directory of alumni with up-to-date contact information. No one intentionally excluded you in previous reunions, nor is that the case for this reunion! All alumni and their +1s are welcome!

Note, we did not have a 20th reunion due to COVID, so in case you thought you missed the boat on that one, fear not.

Why does our reunion need sponsors?

We need to put down payments on the venue and pay for other major event expenses before we'll have sufficient ticket sales to cover them. Sponsors are crucial to us being able to pay those bills on time and ensure a successful event with vendor follow-through!

In return, we offer a range of benefits for our various sponsorship tiers. To learn more about sponsorship, visit our Sponsorship page.

Is our 25th reunion planning committee officially affiliated with PSHS or PISD?

No. We, as a committee, have no official ties to Plano Senior High School or Plano Independent School District aside from being verifiable alumni from the Class of 2000.

Who is the planning committee?

We are a handful of Plano Senior High Class of 2000 alumni who stepped up to organize our 25th reunion in the wake of class leadership  attrition over the past several years without replacements. We are not class officers, although we have organized ourselves into a handful of roles in support of planning various aspects of reunion.

We formed a 501(c)(7) with 4 founding members that ensures proper governance and financial management throughout reunion planning. All members and any recruited sub-committee members are and will be serving in unpaid volunteer roles. All funds raised through sponsorships and ticket sales will go toward enhancing the reunion experience -- not enriching the planning committee or subcommittee members.

For more information on our committee, please visit our Committee page.

How does ticketing & admission work?

Purchasing: Buy tickets online (option to purchase 1 or 2), or purchase any sponsorship (includes 2 tickets).

Admission: Provide your name and photo ID at check-in. We have a list of ticket purchasers and will look you up!

Can I buy at the door?: Yes, but it may create congestion at check-in. We'd really prefer it if everyone buys in advance to keep things moving at the door!

What is the music situation?

We will have a playlist/DJ'ed music with great throwbacks in the mix. We will also have a live band, The Clinton years, who will perform 90s hits for us.

It's our 25th Reunion, a major milestone, hence why we decided to elevate the experience with a band.

So, here's the what's up: We know everyone wants to talk and catch-up. We also want to have a lively party for our class. Here's the arrangement that we felt strikes the right balance:

  • 7-8 PM and 10-11 PM will have DJ'ed music playing at a volume to allow for easy conversation.
  • 8-10 PM is when our awesome hired band, The Clinton Years, will be playing. We've asked for the sound to be relatively 'muted' compared to concert volume so that we can continue conversations.
  • You can always mosey to the Granada lobby (a lovely space) if you want to move away from the live music at any point. Bear in mind, the band will also take breaks between sets.
